DOCTOR'S VISIT

Went to the much dreaded Doctor's visit yesterday. You know the one where you have to start getting naked every week? Yep that's the one! Well yesterday was my day! I dropped Mckena off to a neighbor's house because I really didn't want everyone she came in contact with to know that I got naked for the Doctor. When I get there the first question the nurse asks me is
"How are you feeling?" to which I replied,
"FAT" She didn't look surprised probably because I am sure she gets that same answer 100 times a day! When we get in the room she tosses me a sheet and asks me to get undressed. As I am sitting there in my sheet I am thinking "Does everyone hate this as much as I do?" Surly you would think that after you have year after year of pap's and given birth 3 times you would think it wasn't that big of a deal but still HATE it! Doctor Jones was very sweet with me and after he did the test he asked me if I wanted to be checked. I said I don't care it's up to you. He said "Well your already naked." To which I laugh and he checks me. Of course there is no progress. I am not surprised I never dilate until I actually go into labor. I did however have some protein in my urine and my blood pressure was a little elevated. More rest he says! In my mind I am thinking yup- right! I put my clothes on and go get a Diet Coke as my reward for surviving:O)

VACATION

Spring Break 2008!

We left on Thursday morning and after a few stops we ended up in St.George!!! One of our favorite places. We checked into our hotel, changed our clothes and went swimming. Not many photos because Mom was sitting by the pool for a little free Prozac reading a book. OH- the life!!!
After a couple of hours of happy sun time. We went to the pizza factory for dinner. After we were seated Preston turns to Josh and said" Look Dad, its the Harry Potter phone booth. Can we get a picture?" That's my boy! Our next stop was to Target for a movie and then to Mom's MUST HAVE Nelson's custard. We took it back to our hotel snuggled up on the bed and watched a movie together!
In the morning went to do a little shopping and a photo stop to the temple then we headed to Vegas!
The kids had a great time at the Adventure dome. The big kids even braved their first rollercoster. Not a big hit, but they did it anyway. We spent the evening on the strip and saw the water show at the Balliago(which was awesome) and the ship at Treasure Island(not so awesome anymore!) Went to the movies and saw Horton Hears a Who. Kids thought it was great Mom got a much needed nap!:O) Spent the afternoon with friends Dave and Jennifer for a BBQ. LOVED IT!
Of course the kids had a great time. Everyone was completely exhausted but all in all SUCCESS!

HURRAY FOR SPRING BREAK!!

After an exhausting day of errands, cleaning, laundry, and visiting the Doctor we are ready for a long over due vacation! Josh has been working like crazy and we haven't seen much of him so we are excited to leave everything at home and head out for some good old fashioned family time! Although I am not looking forward to the drive I am excited about warmer weather and no responsibilities! See ya when we get back!!!:O)

TEACHER APPRICIATION WEEK!

MISS BERRY'S 3RD GRADE CLASS!

This was teacher appreciation week for our school. I am Preston's room mom this year and so I was over making his teacher feel special. On Monday I decorated her door.( sorry the picture is facing the wrong way.) Tuesday and Wednesday were her favorite treats. Thursday was lunch from Cafe Rio, and Friday the kids wrote thank you notes. Along with the notes we gave her flowers and a gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.
Miss Berry is a really great teacher.She has so much love to give her class that it was fun to do things to show our appreciation. I felt bad about the parents who would not donate for her gift. Out of 25 students only 3 parents sent in money. I think that is pretty sad. All in all she appreciated all we did and that made it worth all the money and effort!

FEELIN' A LITTLE CRAZY!!!

So my list goes as follows-

1. Three more ideas for teacher appreciation gifts. Get the stuff and take it to the school Wed, Thur, and Fri. Not to mention the fact that 3 parents have sent in money which totals 16 dollars! WHAT THE..... tards I tell ya!
2. Preschool and dance on wed.
3. Dentist appt. wed. Cross your fingers all is getting better with my teeth or you may have a friend with dentures!!!
4. Plan and organize a family dinner on Thursday for about 25 people.
5. Plan sharing time for the third Sunday in a row. Would be pissed off if it wasn't my sweet friend Malinda I was subbing for!
6. Find a sitter for a funeral Saturday morning. For my favorite Uncle Rob. Already called the "regulars" and no takers yet!
7. Get Josh to change carpool schedule so that I actually have a car to get to the funeral.
8. Finish the cake I have to take to a church function tonight!

For the love, no wonder I want to run away from home!!!!

Today we went to the Doctor's office to pick up Preston's glasses. Don't you think that he is so stinkin cute? He is really excited about them. The first thing he said to me after we got in the car is "Wow, that tree has a lot of branches. I don't think I have seen so many little ones before!" When we got home he couldn't believe that the carpet had individual strands in it. He can't wait to go to school to show all his friends. Preston told me today that his teacher Miss Berry will be so happy because now she can put the naught kids in the front row and put Preston in the back. I think it made him feel good that she thought he was such a good kid that he could handle being in the back:O)

BUMP UPDATE!!!

My bump is the big salmon colored bump on the right. The little white bump belongs to my cute sister in law Jo-Jo. So that I can save face a little here Jo is due about a month after me. I thought that I would give you a little update on the progress of things since that seems to be the only thing on my mind these days!

• Lack of accomplishing anything on the list- Check
• Peeing 25 million times a day- Check
• Heartburn from you know where- Check
• Waddling-Check
• Breathing difficulties while tying shoes, painting toes, shaving, and walking- Check
• Sleep deprivation- Check
• Wondering if I could really bleed to death by chopping my legs off- Check
• Alien like bump movement- Check
• Peeing my pants during sudden sneezes and coughs- Check, check
• Obviously not enough kegels!- Check

Well my friends looks like things are right on track. 7 weeks to go and counting!!!
