toothless wonder...

mckena has been working on getting a lose tooth for quite sometime. so it was pretty much her best day when she ACTUALLY had a lose tooth. she worked on moving it back and forth for a few weeks and BEGGED josh to pull it out. when he felt like it was time he pulled out what the kids affectionatly call the

"tooth pliers"

yes, the are actual pliers and they are used sole for teeth. i know what you are thinking...SICK!!! my words exactly but hey they are not in my mouth so who am i to object??

heres the play by play:0)

1st- the numbing gel and the support crew

6th- the note to the tooth fairy. loving written with the help from abbie if you couldn't tell by the p.s.;)

the tooth fairy came and left $2 under her pillow. what is up with that? the tooth fairy should maybe consult his accountant before any more teeth fall out:)

today....

today i take abbie to see dr donaldson. he better be nice to me. going to see an endocronologist is kinda like getting a "mother of a diabetic" report card. he was not nice last time as i pretty much got a d. he better be nice to me cause i might cry if he's not.

dr.d. could you please be on time today? it is never fun taking 3 girls to sit in the room for 2 hours. if you are going to be late could you please bring a diet coke? thanks

lowered the price on my house today. not happy as it makes me feel like i am being screwed. sorry for the potty words but thats how i feel. i guess someone is going to get a smokin deal and hopefully i get one in return:0) 

preston back talked me today. i hate when he does that.

today am looking forward to a little sun this weekend. that always makes me happy.

today while i was blowing my hair dry ella got her silky and a book and sat in the doorway reading her book to me. when i looked down at her she winked at me. seriously the cutest thing i have ever seen. it made me smile.

thursdays thoughts...

so at 8:27 this morning this is how my house looked. Abbie was just starting her piano practicing...

the list had been made of all the cleaning and chores that needed to be done today. josh left a little for us today. i love when he does that

then little miss had a temper trantrum and hit me so off to the corner for her and abbie decided she hates the piano and apparently i am the worst mother for making her learn how to play..... well this is going awesome!

so i started the HUGE list i had made for myself. which included the 50 million loads of laundry. they have been piling up all day. i still have 2 loads to go. i bet you can never guess what i will be doing tonight?

so on to other things...the house is offically on the market. i have mixed emotions. part happy and part increadibly sad and some serious anxiety. some of my own and some of the kids. ugh... we will have to talk about that later. i do however have a beef to take up with the realitor. he said on the mls and flier that the house was very well kept and super clean so bring your pickyist buyers. well if that doesn't put on a lot of pressure i dont know what does. doesn't he know i have already given myself unrealistic expectations?? i will have to have my therapist send him a memo. (could you do that today josh?)

i allowed preston to go to the movies today with a friend. they went to see clash of the titans. we usually preview movies like that before we let preston see them but i was so happy that someone called my lonley guy and invited him that i threw caution to the wind and let him go. probably not one of my best parenting moments but boy was he happy and he LOVED it!

my bff jennifer came to utah this past week. i LOVE when she comes. i always cry when she leaves. i miss having her right around the corner. she is one of those friends that i can tell everything to and she loves me just the same. there are not many people in the world that we connect with but we have and i cherish our relationship as one of my greatest blessings. someday in my fake life we will live by each other again but until then we will have settle for our little moments of fun!

what we have been up to...

Got to go out to dinner with a few friends for my birthday:) LOVE you guys! Thanks for being there for every up and down. I couldn't ask for better friends!

Abbie had her 2 BFF's over for her birthday. We got in our pj's and went to cold stone. Came back and they washed their pigs

So they could have a little pedicure!

I spent the night away at figwart camp with these cuties! Super fun night laughing, eating and of course shopping:)

St. Patrick's day was full of GREEN!

thursdays thoughts...

So this weeks has been chuck full of wonderfulness. Josh has been in Washington D.C. for service chief training and so I have been solo for a week. I really do not like when he travels mostly because we all miss him but the craziest things happen when he's gone.

Carbon monoxide detectors going off for a couple of hours. Call Questar they send someone to test. His keeps his butt crack in his pants this time and tells me to buy new detectors.

 AWESOME!

wake up to find my toilet wont flush. Call Josh and he walks me through how to fix it. AWESOME!

Mckena cuts two chunks out of the back of her hair. Then hides the hair behind the toilet because she thinks i'll never find it there. I asked her if she likes being in trouble. Sobbing she says, "mostly"

AWESOME!

Changed El's diaper this morning. Take the bundle out to the garbage. When I go up to wash my hands I get side tracked by the scissors on the counter. Start the search for what has been cut. Forgetting to wash my hands!!! YUP- caught off track by the new "hairstylist" I had been all over my house doing various things with poo hands. YUMMY! Let the disinfecting begin!

miss abbie turns nine!

I still cant believe that nine years ago I gave birth to this amazing little person.

Being Abbie's mom has given me the opportunity to learn some amazing lessons. I have never met anyone like her.

Her spirit is older than her body. She has an amazing testimony of the Savior and His role in her life. She has an ability to look on the bright side of things and see the best in others. Abbie has this incredible drive to do things and believes all things are possible. She has a contagious laugh and the sweetest personality. SUPER responsible and the best big sister ever!!!

On Saturday morning the little lady was running around like crazy!!! Once the packing, cleaning, instructions, hugs, kisses, and a quick photo were taken they headed out the door.

First stop the pharmacy. I know what your thinking, this little lady needs to learn how to go on vacation!!! Well a Mommy's work is never done;) Then to the temple that the little lady and the hunk-a-hunk of burnin love were married at:) Beautiful and peaceful. Just what they needed. After a quick wardrobe change in a parking lot they headed to Good Wood for a little bit... OK a LOT a bit of BBQ. YUMMY!!! With their tummies full it was off to Park City for shopping. The little lady was in heaven and the hunk-a-hunk of burnin love did a great job of holding the bags and trying on some really awesome sunglasses. Do you see the bling bling??

They checked into their hotel and went to dinner and the movies.

The little lady and the hunk-a-hunk of burnin love had a wonderful time just being together. Lots of yummy food, laughing, hand holding, talking, and a few things that are still none of your business;)

Promises were made that they would not go another 5 years before they went away together. They returned home to their little people who were alive and smiling! (way to go Aunt Monica!!)

 The hunk-a-hunk of burnin love unpacked while the little lady got dinner together for the littles, 

and they lived happily ever after:)
